Planning a walk

What is a corporate walk?

A private guided walk for your colleagues, clients or delegates, designed around your objective. It might be a lunchtime wellbeing reset, an icebreaker before a client dinner, a mid-conference energiser or a team social. A professional London guide leads the group, tells the stories behind the streets, and we handle the route, timings and risk assessment.

Where in London do your walks take place?

Anywhere in central London. We regularly walk the City of London, Westminster and Whitehall, Soho, Mayfair, Belgravia, Bloomsbury, King's Cross, Clerkenwell and the East End. Most corporate walks start at your office, hotel or conference venue, and we can finish at a restaurant, pub or your next meeting.

How many people can join a walk?

Up to 20 people per guide. That cap keeps the group small enough for everyone to hear the guide and join the conversation. For larger teams we add guides and run groups in parallel; we once split 65 KPMG delegates into smaller groups and still had everyone at their restaurant on time.

How long does a walk last?

Programme walks are curated 60-minute routes, which fit comfortably into a lunch break or the end of the working day. One-off walks are planned around your schedule, from a tight hour before a meeting to an afternoon that finishes at dinner.

Can the walk be tailored to our company or industry?

Yes. Every corporate walk is designed for the group taking it. We can focus on the history of your own neighbourhood, a theme that suits your industry (finance, law, media, engineering) or an interest your team shares. Tell us what you're hoping to achieve and we'll suggest a route.

Wellbeing walking programmes

How many people can join a walk?

Up to 20 people per guide. That cap keeps the group small enough for everyone to hear the guide and join the conversation. For larger teams we add guides and run groups in parallel; we once split 65 KPMG delegates into smaller groups and still had everyone at their restaurant on time.

Are you insured, and do you provide risk assessments?

Yes. We carry the insurance and provide a full risk assessment for every route, so HR, facilities and wellbeing leads can sign the walk off with confidence.

How do the wellbeing walking programmes work?

You choose a package and a fixed day and time slot, and we run a curated walk for your team at that slot every week, fortnight or month. Start and finish points are flexible, routes are refreshed regularly so there's always something new, and each walk is risk-assessed and insured. There's a minimum commitment of three months.

How much do the walking programmes cost?

Bronze (one walk a month) is £495 a month, Silver (two walks a month) is £950 a month and Gold (one walk a week) is £1,795 a month. Each covers groups of up to 20 people. A one-off walk at our standard rate is £600, so every package saves you money over booking ad hoc.

What if more than 20 people want to join?

We can add a second guide for £450 a walk and run two groups along the same route at the same time.

Can different people join each walk?

Of course. The slot belongs to your organisation, so anyone in your team can sign up for any walk, up to the group size of your package. Many companies use it to mix departments and welcome new joiners.

On the day

Are walks suitable for everyone?

Walking is the most inclusive team activity there is: low-impact, no kit, no change of clothes and no alcohol required. Routes are paced for mixed fitness levels and include natural stopping points. Let us know about any access needs when you book and we'll plan the route around them.

What happens if it rains?

London walks go ahead in most weather, so bring a coat and an umbrella. If conditions make walking unsafe or miserable, we'll talk to you about the options, including rearranging the walk.

Are you insured, and do you provide risk assessments?

Yes. We carry the insurance and provide a full risk assessment for every route, so HR, facilities and wellbeing leads can sign the walk off with confidence.

Can the walk include refreshments or end at a restaurant?

Yes. We can build in a stop for refreshments, or design the route to finish at the door of your chosen restaurant, pub or bar, which is why walks work so well before a client dinner or team party.

Ready to take the meeting outside?

Tell us about your team, where you're based and what you'd like to achieve. We'll suggest a route and get your first walk in the diary.
